What is the reservation policy?

Please note that check in is 2pm and check out is 10am. If you need to arrive earlier or leave later please contact us prior and note that there may be an additional charge. Full payment is required to confirm a booking however we may accept 1 nights accomodation deposit for manual payments. Full payment for your booking should be completed up 14 days before arrival. If you have not completed your payment 7 days before arrival your booking may cancelled by us. The policy terms at www.thehideaway.com.au do not replace or superceed the policy terms of seperate booking sites. Where there is a conflict between the terms of this website or an external booking service the policy will favour the customer.

What is the cancellation policy?

If you make a mistake and need to cancel your booking you can do so and recieve a full refund within 48 hours of payment less any third party costs that we can not recover. If you cancel with more than 2 weeks before your arrival 1 nights accomodation cost will be retained as a credit towards any rebooking within 12 months or is surrendered. If you cancel within 2 weeks of your arrival you will surrender a proportion of the paid amount as determined by the operator. This amount will take into account your planned lenghth of stay and the ability of the operator to rebook the time reserved. This may be between 0% and 80% of the accomodation cost. The operator will take into account the circumstances surrounding the reason for the cancellation when determining a credit or refund. **COVID19/Pandemic Cancellation Poilcy** If as a result of a Covid19 or similar global pandemic event 100% of your booking fee and accomodation fee will be refunded if: we are unable to accept you as a guest due to a travel restriction within South Australia. you are unable to leave your location to travel to Kangaroo Island due to travel restictions enforced by State or Federal Governments of Australia.
